Hey Y'all!

Welcome to my little spot on the Internet, I am so happy you are here. I was born and bred in the great state of Texas which has essentially found its way into all of my artwork. Over the last few years, my work has evolved from brightly colored abstract paintings to more emotionally vibrant western works. I believe in the power of story, which is why you'll also find some of my musings on life and the Lord included in this space. I am so thrilled to share my work with you. I absolutely love my job and I count it a blessing to paint for you.

INSPIRED BY SONG: Many of my paintings are inspired by old-school country songs. Having said that, I rarely set out to paint a song, it just sort of happens - which is the magic of painting. This is the music of my studio, a vital piece of each and every painting.

THE COWBOY IN ME COLLECTION

Since I was a little girl, I have been captivated by open fields, dusty trails, and the life-giving moments I spent riding horses. Growing up I was determined to be a barrel racer in the rodeo but the pull of high school sports finally lured me away from the arena and onto the softball field.

Now, while I do occasionally find myself horseback in a field somewhere, I paint the scenes and people that still live deep inside of me somewhere. The pull of the dusty earth mixed with the beauty of the open sky is absolutely magical in my eyes and, I hope, in my work. My prayer is that these pieces transport you to a magical and dusty place, filled with open spaces, wild horses, and a gritty determination to keep working through life.

Collection debut coming soon.
